~1827 born. Family lore and the various censuses say he was born in Ireland. 1871 census says he was born in Co. Cork. Census records put his birth at 1827-1829. In the Ballyvourney area - this from DNA
1851 Census.. Not to be found as he is still in Ireland. He marries Catherine Buckley 31/7/1851 in the North Cathedral, Cork city.
