1898. His b.c. seems to have been verified by the Lighterman company on 18/4/1898 - was there a waiting list?

1901C. Alive, aged 16, teapacker grocer, family still at 12 Curlew Street .

1903. John Lyons born 12.8.84 St Olave, was bound as a Lighterman 8/12/03, freed 8/6/09, master: Cornelius Frederick Clemens

1911C. And I confirmed he was still alive in 1911C ['cos mother only has 1 dead child and have proved that was his brother, Michael Joseph]. Married for 5 mths, John Lyons, aged 26, lighterman, Catherine 25, also b.Bermondsey, no children, living at 49 Queen Elizabeth Street in 2 rooms. So, he married a Catherine Mahoney, registered Mar 1911, St.Olave, 1d 255.-not, understandably, in Protestant London Marriages

1952. Andrew J Lyons married Margaret Macdonald Jun 1952 St. Olaves. They likely had just one child: Ian J Lyons, born Dec1961 Bermondsey. No marriage for him round London 1980-2000

His wife almost certainly died Catherine Lyons Bermondsey Sep 1955, age 70, 5c.83: must have already filled up/ or filled it up incorrectly, the 1956 Electoral Register?

1958-61. Just John Lyons living at 22 Storks Road Bermondsey. 1961 the last enry I found on Ancestry.

. Most likely death for John Lyons is Bermondsey, Mar 1964, age 79, 5c.171 No probate for this death. . Another 3 possible deaths near London 1945-1961. Certainly died before 1969 when birth dates were recorded.

This needs amending: Andrew J Lyons born 1914, died 2000, to John & Catherine Lyons Also John P Lyons 1912-1915. John Lyons 1884 likely dies 1964.
