Helen, married John H.[Jack] Blackmore,[ born 26/9/1887] Holborn Dec 1916 1b.1234. He is in the 1911C, aged 23, a Drapery Assistant, boarder at 56 Elm Park Brixton Hill, born Okehampton, Devon. They were living at 47, Darville Road. Stoke Newington in December 1923 (Timothy's death). She then moved to 104 The Ridgeway, Enfield, phone ENField 4796 & was probably still there on the death of her husband, John Henry Blackmore, Enfield Dec1969. It is then thought she went to live with a nephew but this did not work out. She died Dec1971, Croydon, leaving a will .There was great family discussion about Aunt Nellie's will : a Blackmore nephew was contesting a share in her estate, as she had left everything to her 6 surviving Lyons nephews & nieces, Hilda, Eva, Frank, Len, Bill & Dennis. This went to court and the Lyonses won: it was still divided into 7 shares, with Hilda getting 2 shares, and the other 5 getting one share each.

Her husband is said to have been gassed in WW1 [there is a pension record for a John Henry Blackmore, b.Okehampton, on Ancestry WW1 records] & worked in the city, where he met Nellie. He was due to inherit an estate in Devon.; his father may have been Blackmore, Joseph Henry b.1865 - Berrynarbour, Devon and who died 1909 - South Molton, Devon. But there is no will for such a person?!!

Nellie was godmother to her niece Eva Lyons in 1912 but was seemingly not liked by her nephews and nieces.
